Who we are
Better Properties Real Estate Group, operating under Royal LePage Signature Realty, Brokerage. This site is run by Jim Emilson, a real estate salesperson in Toronto, Ontario.
What we collect
Only what you give us, plus basic analytics:
- Contact details you submit — name, email address, phone number, and whatever you type into our forms (valuation requests, buyer/seller intake, market-report signups, contact forms).
- Subscription preferences — which market reports and updates you asked to receive.
- Basic analytics — Google Analytics measures which pages get visited so we know what's useful. It doesn't tell us who you are.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry — that's the whole point of the form.
- To send the market reports and updates you specifically subscribed to.
- To improve the site based on what people actually read.
Email consent (CASL)
We only send marketing emails to people who asked for them. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe, and we honour it promptly. If you subscribed to a market report, you'll only get what you signed up for — never a bait-and-switch.
What we never do
- We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- We never share your details with third parties for their marketing.
- We never add you to an email list you didn't ask to join.
Where your data lives
Form submissions are processed by our website host (Netlify) and our email provider (Brevo), both of which store data securely. We keep your information only as long as it's useful for the reason you gave it to us.
Your rights

Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies for analytics (Google Analytics) and to remember basic preferences. Your browser can block them — the site still works.
