Not a one-neighbourhood pony.
Most Toronto agents sell the three blocks they live on. I’m not one of them.
I’m a transplant. Early childhood in Niagara Falls, then a small town in Saskatchewan, then I landed in Toronto. Since then I’ve lived downtown, Cabbagetown, The Beach, Bolton, Mimico — 18 months in Calgary along the way — and now Humber Bay Shores. East side, west side, downtown, waterfront, north. I’ve done the whole tour.
Before real estate I spent ten years as a sales rep with customers in every corner of this city. I know these neighbourhoods because I’ve lived in them and worked in them — the cafes, the parks, the rinks and courts, what a street feels like at 8am.
So when I help you pick a neighbourhood, it’s not a pitch for the one area I happen to know. It’s an honest read on which one fits your life.
The career behind it
Raised in a family of entrepreneurs, I started my first business at 18 and my second at 23.
From there I rose to lead U.S. sales for a CPG manufacturer, selling retail product lines to some of the world’s largest retailers.
But real estate had been the goal since I was 15. In 2010 I took the steps to get in — and never looked back. Fourteen years selling Toronto and the GTA since.
